Maciek is a freelance photographer specializing in concert and live-event photography. Since Jun 2016 he has also been an award-winning certified photojournalist for CamerapixoPRESS International Photography Magazine (USA).

His works have been displayed at regular exhibitions organized by Krakowska Witryna Fotograficzna run by Krakow professional photojournalists and the Association of Polish Journalists, and they received special recognition at The 5 Years of KWF, The Crazy Krakow, Pulse of the City, and The 10 Years of KWF celebrations. Some of his concert photographs were also shown in autumn 2018 as part of a special group exhibition Aleja Gwiazd which presented pictures of musicians and bands who performed at NCK that year. Later, in Aug 2019, his one-month solo exhibition named PhotoSounds presented his best works at Pierwszy Lokal na Stolarskiej po lewej stronie, idąc od Małego Rynku. The latest solo exhibition Dźwiękiem Kadrowane was on display in Sep and Oct 2022 and showcased his photographs of artists who had performed at NCK for the last 5 years (link). Last autumn in celebration of its 40th anniversary, NCK presented a special exhibition featuring among others some of Maciek's pictures of musicians who had performed on its stage.
